The picture shown below (left photo) pinpoints the approximate area you will massage for above the waist problems which include fingers, elbow, migraines, shoulder, neck-aches, wrists, migraines. If you don’t have someone to massage under the blade – back up against a door jam or use a couple of tennis balls in a sock and stand up against a wall. If you are lucky enough to have someone, sit in a chair and take the arm on the side you are working on and cross to the other side of your body which makes it easier to get under the blade – and just dig in and start massaging.
Of my products, the Eucalyptus Oil Spray is usually the first product I start with as because it’s thin – it goes deep fast. The Intensive Remedy Rub is my second most effective products, as it is the only other actual massage product I make. People love this balm. Remember – when you can reduce swelling you will see amazing relief, but you have to really work on the area with some gusto!!
Below the waist – sit in a chair and bend over and stretch the area. Sciatica problems affect the feet, toes, heels, knees, legs, bloating and can cause some major discomfort. With fingertips flat massage deep in the area with a circular motion. Moist heat really makes a huge difference once the oils or balms are rubbed in. I never use a heating pad – only moist. You can easily make an inexpensive heat bag by filling a long tube sock full of regular rice (not minute rice) and heat for about 2-1/2 minutes in the microwave. Studies have shown that in reducing swelling and inflammation, moist heat is more effective than taking 1000 mg of Ibuprofen.
